How to create a new payment plan

Customer Account     Subscription Types    

1. Are you ready?
   
   In this tutorial we are going to learn how to create a new payment plan for an existing customer. We will use the customer created in Creating a customer tutorial.
   
   We will use the following parameters:
   

   Customer's Name: John Smith
   Payment Plan: Perpetual
   Amount: $42.00
   Billing Cycle: M01 - 11/01/2025
   Payment Source: Credit Card
   
2. Log in to the system using your Username and Password and switch to the Console Perspective.
   
   Note: To learn how to log in and select perspectives, use the prerequisite tutorial Logging in and navigating the application.
   
3. Select appropriate Merchant or Merchant Account in the top left section of the screen.
   
4. Firstly, let's locate the previously created customer.
   
5. Click   Customersbutton in the top section of the screen.
   
6. Click   Listmenu item
7. Enter John into the First Nametextbox
8. Enter Smith into the Last Nametextbox
9. Click   Findbutton
10. Locate   Customer Account List  groupbox
11. Click   View Customerbutton

12. Now, let's learn how to create a new payment plan.
    
13. Locate   Payment Plans  groupbox on the opened form.

14. Click   Newbutton
15. Enter 42 into the Amounttextbox
16. Enter Perpetual Payment Plan into the Descriptiontextbox
17. Locate   Unlimited  radio button and select it.
    
18. Locate   Credit Card  radio button and select it.
    
19. Select M01 - 11/01/2025 in Cycle Typelabel
20. Locate   Credit Card  groupbox
21. Select 4***********1111 in Existingdropdown . All fields related to the payment should now be filled in.
    
22. Click   Savebutton
23. Congratulations, you are done!
